The Uebel Lab is located in the stunning new William and Linda Frost Center for Research and Innovation at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
Our lab is currently full. However, if you are a Cal Poly undergraduate interested in joining the lab in future semesters, please fill out the form linked below to indicate your interest. No prior research experience is required, but a good grasp of introductory biology and genetics is highly recommended.
Special Interest: Though the experimental lab is full, special consideration will be given to a motivated undergraduate researcher interested in investigating a little-known 1940s pioneer in C. elegans history. The project includes analyzing archival literature, navigating non-digital sources, and interviewing surviving colleagues and/or descendants. If you have (or want to develop) strong investigative skills and want to help recover this lost figure in worm research, apply today!
